He asked, she said “about dang time”

Hey everyone!
I get asked quite often about our “love story” and before I get to the best moment of my life, I’ll take you back to the beginning!
Eric and I met in Gainesville, FL in the summer of 2015. He was persistent on a date and I did not care either way! Our first “real” date was to a Tampa Bay Rays baseball game in St. Petersburg, FL a TWO hour drive away! Now that I look back it was kinda crazy of me to get in the truck with someone I knew less than a week, but I am so glad I did! We have been inseparable from that day on… ❤

The following May we moved from Gainesville to Tampa, FL and opened Florida Boys Moving & Storage. ( we got a puppy along the way.. but that’s another story )

We have always talked about marriage and wanting to start a family, and in due time we will. But we wanted to be married before we have children. I has been nagging him for the proposal since about the time we moved down to Tampa. I figured if I reminded him enough, he could not possibly forget! LOL

I also really want a February wedding date, and he knew that 😉

One our anniversary, we had dinner at one of our favorite places on the bay and I asked if we could FINALLY watch the sunset ( I had yet to see a west coast sunset. )

He got down on one knee just as the sun was setting and I immediately asked him “are you serious?!” and then of course said “YES!”

This man asked my dad’s permission, made sure I was wearing white, used my full name, and then handed my some key lime pie! He did everything just right!
