Hey friends, Today I am going to be sharing a little inspiration for fall family photos or matching family outfits for any occasion. One of my favorite things to do is put together matching/coordinating outfits for our fam! I will cherish the family photos forever, especially since babies do not stay little forever.
Here are some recent shots we have as a family, probably coming to a Christmas card near you soon! haha

A few tips I have for taking photos with little ones, or a reluctant husband (lol)
- Is to offer a reward afterward! My boys like a new toy, or Tonie box character to listen to on the way home in the car
- Have low expectations, I always go in hoping we will get just ONE picture of everyone looking at the camera. I am always blown away by the magic our photographer captures!
- Bring toys/noise makers for the kids
- Bring in reinforcements too, I like to bring my sister or a grandma along to stand behind the photographer & get the kids attention, and have another hand to hold bags/offer snacks in between shots (this also leaves supervision for mom & dad to snag a shot too)
- Just have fun! Even though mom will undoubtedly be sweating & everyone will feel uncomfortable at first, it is a fun memory! I promise I do not look back and only remember the stress behind the pictures 🙂
- My last trick is to let the kids “pick out” their outfits. I like to set out a couple of options, that way they are involved.
