Hey friends and happy holiday season! I say “holiday” because we are coming up on Thanksgiving, and then we will be in full blown Christmas mode starting on Friday morning! I love both Thanksgiving and Christmas SO MUCH! My birthday (and my oldest) is the week of Thanksgiving. But I much prefer Christmas decorations over anything orange for Thanksgiving. ha!
Anyways, this year we changed up our Christmas decor. I am keeping it SIMPLE! You know the saying “let your heart be light”? That’s my goal for this year, LIGHT & SIMPLE.
Starting with our trees, yes we can have four trees, and still call it “simple” haha I ditched the ornaments (because small babies) and folded the branches of our King of Christmas Trees (8ft and 7.5ft) down. I love how “natural” this looks! Despite having four flocked Christmas trees in my living room being far from “natural”
We went with two different stars on top of the trees, two are rattan and two are mercery glass.
I love the look of the white metal tree skirts.
As for the mini trees, I stuffed these into white planter boxes (can use this spring on the front porch.) I like to add in a throw blanket to the base of these trees as well, making it nice and cozy!
We added in some blue bottle brush trees and a Christmas candle to our entryway, but other than that I have really gone light with the decor this year. I like it this way, less to clean up around.
