Hey friends, We arrived home from my birthday trip to Jensen Beach, FL about a week ago. Eric and I went down there (a quick drive from Gainesville or Melbourne) for two nights to celebrate my birthday! This was the first time in THREE years we had spent the night away from the boys. We have done lots of dates, day trips & single trips (but never mom & dad away from the boys at the same time.) It was so special for us, and the boys did great! At least that was Gramz said 😉
We stayed at Hutchinson Shores Resort & Spa. It was a BEAUTIFUL resort, right up my alley with the architecture. It has stunning coastal vibes. The staff were all so friendly and welcoming! We ate every meal at the Drift restaurant and bar. It was one of my favorite restaurants I’ve been to in a long time! Their room service was stellar too!
We ended up taking a morning trip down to Palm Beach for some shopping, but next time we stay at Hutchinson we will definitely make a stay-cation out of it and not leave the property 🙂 You do not have to, because they have so many amenities, which is the best!
Eric and I loved the alone time, but we will also bring the boys with us next time. They would love it! It is right on the beach, so easy access with the kiddos, and they have two pools, poolside bars, a hot tub, and lots of space for the boys to play!
We stayed in a King Oceanfront Suite, which was so nice to have a little extra room.
They also have an on-site spa, and I will definitely be making time for that next trip.
Eric and I loved the resort so much, we are already trying to squeeze in our next trip down there!
Unfortunately the weather was quite rainy while we were there, but once again, another reason to go back!
