hello, friends & happy October!!
This past weekend I took a two night, three day girls trip with my childhood bestie to Amelia Island, FL. We had never been to Fernandina Beach or the island before this trip. We fell in love with the coastal vibes, beautiful art & downtown shopping!
See my trip in real time on my Instagram account, on the Amelia Island highlight…
You can watch a recap HERE. See what I packed on THIS blog post, and see some outfits I wore on the trip HERE, HERE & HERE. I have an album with all of my looks on my LTK page HERE as well.
Keep reading to see where we stayed, what we ate & all of the fun that was had!
Where to stay:
The Ritz Carlton Amelia Island – a luxury resort, perfect for a girls trip or a romantic vacation

Where to dine:
Coquina at the Ritz – highly recommend that ahi tuna bowl! It has amazing views of the pool & the ocean!
It would be a fun place to hang at sunset too!

The Decantery – definitely grab an espresso martini!! We went for their Jazz & Wine fest and loved tasting allllll of the wines.

Luxe Picnics by Les – an AMAZING picnic service – HIGHLY recommend if you want a unique picnic experience, like no other. She goes above & beyond. We had charcuterie, games, blankets, Les thought of everything! It was the perfect addition to the girls trip 🙂
See her Instagram HERE.

Amelia Island Coffee – had an amazing breakfast & coffee selection, right on Centre Street. It is the perfect stop before a day of shopping.
The Lobby Bar at the Ritz was also an amazing spot for apps & drinks!

Where to play:
Beach – the beach access, chairs & umbrella service at the Ritz was amazing. I love being just a few steps from the beach!

Centre Street – this strip of downtown has it ALL. We say the prettiest murals, Lindy’s Jewerly, The Beauty Bar, Palace Saloon, etc. I love that parking is easy, it is close to the river for sunset views & it is not overcrowded/doesn’t feel touristy at all. The shops we stopped at were so fun & filled with quality products. Not the typical tourist junk!

Art Passport – If you love a scavenger hunt type game then you will enjoy the Art Passport by Amelia Island right now. You can read all about it on their site HERE. I love that it was easy to find the murals and I earned a prize for finding the art/murals I wanted to see!
Here are a few shops we loved:
Watanut – also cookies & ice cream, in addition to fabulous gifts!

As always, if you go on a trip to the island please tag me on Instagram, I would love to see!
xoxo, Sarah
