Hey friends!
Today’s post is a little different from my usual. But I wanted a place to be able to reflect on our first year married. I know I will like looking back at this in the years to come.
I feel like I was walking down the aisle with my dad last week! I cannot believe it has already been one whole year.
But at the same time, I feel like E & I have been married for forever.
So this post is just a simple tribute to my amazing husband – seriously the best man I’ve ever known. I feel so crazy lucky every day to have found such a great guy.
I have been sitting here trying to find a few words to describe this first year of marriage. But I am coming up with memories instead.
So I thought I would walk you through this first year.
We got married in my hometown with our best friends and family by our side.
We left for a cruise to Key West, and Mexico.
We got home and got back to work. We own Florida Boys Moving & Storage. At the time, I was working a full-time job at Publix Supermarkets in their corporate office.
E went on many fishing adventures. We traveled to see family, and I shopped.. a lot. 🙂
We had plenty of wins and losses, but we always tried to spend intentional time with each other. You can read about some of the dates we went on here.
In November, I left my full-time job at Publix, to work for from home.
During this new-found time together (24 hours, every day of the week) we have learned even more about each other. I would not trade my time with E full-time for the world.
We have taught each other patience, organization, and how much I like to sneak away from the house and go to Target alone. 😉
I have more time to work on this blog, which I am so grateful for!
We have gone to Disney more times than E has ever been in his whole life, WIN!
We traveled all around Florida & are leaving a week-long vacation in California as I publish this blog post.
I have loved him more and more each day. <3
Here are some of our favorite images from our wedding…
Tamsin was our photographer and I could not have chosen anyone better. She was amazing! You can visit her site here.
Thank you for following along with us this past year.
xoxo,
